CreatureCon
Costume Contest and Costuming Panels
with
Meredith Placko
and The Heroes Alliance

Heroes Alliance

Planning on coming to CreatureCon in costume? Want to build a costume and get involved in the costuming community? Here's a chance to have blast a CreatureCon! Both kids and adults will be able to compete in the CreatureCon Costume Contest hosted by Meredith Placko and judged by The Heroes Alliance. Also be certain to stop by their various panels on Costuming (see below) if you would like to learn more about involvement in this fun fan hobby or if you'd just like tips on beginning or perfecting that costume idea for the next convention or Halloween party. Further details on the Costume Contest will be announced soon!

Meredith Placko is an American costume designer, model, and entertainer. She has been creating her own costumes since 2000, even going so far as to earn a degree in Fashion Design and Marketing. When not working on and wearing her creations, you can find her teaching others how to create wonderful, wearable works of art. Outside of conventions, Meredith works behind the scenes as a field producer and writer, and a commercial voice over artist.

The Heroes Alliance is a not for profit organization that has been formed by a group of Super Hero Costumers who want to give back to the community through the costumes that they themselves make.  The Heroes Alliance originated in Tampa Florida and has expanded throughout the state of Florida as well as a few other states in the U.S.  The Heroes Alliance has done all sorts of community events, from helping local law enforcement with community events to visiting sick children in the hospital to help brighten their spirits.  The Heroes Alliance is here to help you.

Interstellar Ooze's Infinite Trivia

The Interstellar Ooze's Infinite Trivia Challenge!

The trivia games may not literally be infinite, (except when self-reciprocating in zero gravity), but they are known intergalactically as fun. Seriously folks, trivia games are planned for both kids and adults. Qualifying quizzes will be given prior to game times to determine the four players who will compete each round for prizes which are yet to be determined.
